Safety and Certifications

  1. Secure Installation: Ensure that the drape rod is securely assembled and attached to the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini or Bed. Regularly check the hardware to make sure everything is tight and secure to prevent any accidents.
  2. Material Safety: The drape rod is made from beech laminate, a safe and non-toxic material. However, ensure that any fabric used with the rod (such as the canopy) is also non-toxic and safe for a baby's environment.
  3. Avoid Overloading: Do not hang heavy items on the drape rod. It is designed to support the weight of the Stokke® Sleepi™ Canopy only. Overloading can cause the rod to break or detach, posing a risk.
  4. Positioning: Make sure the rod and any attached fabric are well out of reach of your baby to prevent any risk of entanglement or suffocation.
  5. Regular Inspection: Periodically inspect the drape rod for any signs of wear and tear or damage. If any part is broken or damaged, stop using the rod immediately and contact Stokke® for support.
  6. Proper Use: Use the drape rod only as intended, with the Stokke® Sleepi™ Mini and Bed. Improper use or modifications could lead to safety risks.

Care and Maintenance

Maintenance:

  • Wipe with a clean, damp cloth to maintain the appearance and integrity of the rod.
  • Avoid excessive water and do not use harsh cleaning agents, as they may damage the wood.
  • Ensure the rod is securely attached and check regularly for any signs of wear or loosening.

Warranty Information

Stokke offers an Extended Warranty for several of its products, enhancing the standard warranty period to either 3 or 7 years. To benefit from this, you need the product's serial number and proof of purchase.

The Extended Warranty covers manufacturing faults that occur during normal recommended use and maintenance as specified in the product's user guide and instruction manual​​.

Products covered by the Stokke Extended Warranty include:

However, the warranty does not cover issues from normal wear and tear, overloading, material variations, environmental factors, accidents, or unauthorized accessories​​.

For warranty issues, it's recommended to contact the original retailer. If that's not possible, Stokke Customer Service can be contacted for advice. It's advised to have a full description of the issue, proof of purchase, model, color, and serial number ready for efficient assistance​​​
